Recycling with the local community:
Here at Villa Florencia we have waste management program which includes recycling of certain wastes produced by the hotel such as:
- Cardboard
- Juice boxes and Milk boxes
- Paper
- Plastic bottles
We have had such a great success with our program that we have begun to help out some of the local schools that wish to improve and minimize the waste that they produce. We have donated garbage bins and signs so that students can ensure that they are separating the waste correctly and we visit the schools to ensure they are following the guidelines we have provided.

- San Francisco de Tuis
- The community of La Susanita
