Tree Planting Program Hotel Villa Florencia
In order to create awareness in the schools that are participating in our recycling program, we have done a series of tree planting campaigns with students to show them the importance of trees in our daily life.
We have worked with pre-schoolers, third grade and sixth grade students over the past months re-planting in areas deemed important to the school. Areas in which the students felt it was important to reforest as well as areas which Villa Florencia sees are requiring our assistance.
The trees provided are native species to Costa Rica and provided a source of food for the local fauna.
Guests are more than welcome and encouraged to participate in the activities!
