Turrialba is located 65 kilometers Southeast of the city of San José. To reach there you have to cross Cartago, Paraíso, Cervantes and Juan Viñas. It takes approximately one hour and thirty minutes

By bus:
San José - Turrialba Route: Departures every day, each hour starting at 5:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. The bus terminal is located next to the Echandi Doctors Veterinarian Clinic, 100 mts. West of the Courts of Justice of San José.
Siquirres - Turrialba Route: Departures from Friday to Monday each hour and from Tuesday to Thursday every two hours, until 7:00 p.m. The terminal in Siquirres is facing the Sports' plaza.

By car:
From the North Route: Bordering the volcanoes Turrialba and Irazú, Pacayas, Santa Cruz and Santa Rosa de Turrialba.
South Route: Sliding down the valley of Orosi, Cachí, Tucurrique and finally Atirro de Turrialba.
Central Route: Passes by Paraíso, Cervantes, Juan Viñas and finally Turrialba.
